Belen Coca is an independent creative director and singer based in Madrid, who currently works in projects related with music, creativity and cultural branding.
Until she left her position in 2015, Belén was Executive Creative Director at La Despensa, one of the top creative boutiques in Spain. She arrived to the agency in 2006 to build the digital department and she ended up leading the creative team, working in successful integrated campaigns for clients like MINI, Nestlé, adidas, Amnesty International, Burger King or Pepsi.
Before, she worked as a digital art director in the interactive agency Storm and the e-consultancy iXL in Madrid, San Diego and London. Her work has been awarded internationally and she has been jury at D&AD, Art Director’s Club, NY Festivals, El Sol, Webby Awards, Lovie Awards, the Spanish Club de Creativos y El Ojo de Iberoamérica. She is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences and the Spanish Club de Creativos board.
Belén is been teaching in Miami Ad School Madrid since 2006 and she still feels thrilled to help the young talent grow. She loves to write, give talks and workshops on creativity as much as singing and composing songs for her band, Niña Vintage, which recently released its first album, “Take this Train”.
