Anastasia is a senior art director at Host/Havas Australia. Rooted in activation, digital, and experiential, she believes in ideas that go beyond changing perception, and seeks to spark real value at a pivotal moment to change behaviour.
Hong Kong-grown, her work explores the way we participate with, protect, share, and evolve culture. She changed a 2,000-year-old word to change a law, and reimagined the shopping cart to fight childhood obesity. She started a virtual kitchen to preserve Cantonese recipes, used flight data to create procedurally generated artwork in real time, and translated tweets into donations.
She served on the D&AD gaming jury in 2022, proudly representing Black female gamers. Anastasia was also selected, along with five women across the world, to take part in Cannes See It Be It, a unique development experience to close the gender gap among creative industry leaders. In her free time, Anastasia writes and illustrates children's books based on African history and folk tales.
Currently playing: Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Civ VI, Heavenly Bodies, and chaining healing spells in lieu of rest in D&D.
