After completing his Master Degree in Design in 1994, Pablo Bach originally began his career as an agency creative. When he got in touch with film, animation and the wide field of digital production, he found his calling. He made his way up as an artist at several leading studios and is now considered to be one of the countries pioneers in high class computer animation.
Ensuing his time as the head of Graphics/Animation/VFX at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, developing station design and in-house productions as a creative director or vfx supervisor, he decided it was time to go out on his own. 2001 became the birth year of LIGA 01.
Today, after more than 17 years LIGA 01 was merged with its former competitor SEHSUCHT. The new company stands as one of the foremost digital media production houses in TV design, advertising and feature film. With its round 80-strong team in their 3 locations Hamburg, Munich and Berlin, the company executes choice innovative content for agencies, producers and broadcasting companies around the world.
Pablo ́s passion and knowledge for his work as Animation Director and VFX Supervisor has made him one of the industries’ most sought after and go-to creative consultants. He is an active member of the Art Director ́s Club and regularly lectures to students at the Film Academy Baden-Wurttemberg. Under his direction, the company has won countless awards for their productions including, from the New York Festivals, D&AD, ADC, Eurobest, Cannes Lions, PromaxBDA, Clio Awards and from Spotlight Festival are just a few of the many accolades earned.
