Erh has started his career as an art director in Brazil and was hired in 1994 by DM9DDB, where he created highly awarded campaigns. His work attracted the attention of DDB’s head office in New York, where he subsequently worked and developed campaigns for brands such as Bentley, McDonald´s, Compaq and Philips.
In 2000, Erh returned to Brazil as Chief Creative Officer of DM9DDB. In late 2002, he founded his own agency: BorghiErh - the fastest growing agency in Brazil for four consecutive years. In December of 2006, BorghiErh merged with global network Lowe + Partners and Erh became co-Chief Executive Officer of the agency.
In 2012, Erh left BorghiErh with the ambition of building an innovative project. Finally, in 2014, he founded the Brazilian unit of BETC. In just 3 years, BETC merged with Havas Worldwide, becoming BETC/Havas - an agency with clients such as Accor Hotels, China in Box, Citroën, Hering, Hershey's, Jequiti, Pão de Açúcar, Peugeot e Reckitt Benckiser.
In 2016, Erh was elected by ABP (Brazilian Advertising Association) the best Agency Executive of Brazil. Erh was also ranked among the 10 most admired publicists in the country, according to the Scopen consultancy.
During his 28-years career in advertising, Erh’s work has been awarded at all the key Brazilian and international festivals – including Cannes Lion, Clio's, FIAP, One Show, New York Festival awards and had more than 40 campaigns published on ‘Archive’ magazine. He has also has been jury member at the Cannes Festival at the Film category for 3 times.
Currently, Erh is part of the NY Festivals Advisory Board, and also part of the Executive Committe of CONAR - the institution that regulates the advertising market in Brazil.
