Vums, as many in the industry call him, has been sharpening his skills and expertise in the visual communication industry for two decades, working on a wide range of brands and creative disciplines. He is an ‘integrated conceptual creative’ with a keen focus on brand design. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa he has worked for some of the country’s top advertising agencies, namely Ogilvy, Joe Public, M&C Saatchi Abel and VML. Vumile is Founder, Designer and Creative Director of VM DSGN, specialising in multidisciplinary design that goes beyond the traditional. He has won awards, published in local publications, digital blogs and has been commissioned by brands on design projects. He has judged at design and advertising awards locally and globally - with Cannes Lions and One Show being his highlights. He is passionate about innovative work that reimagines creativity and its role in society. Vumile is always on the look out for big ideas and creativity with meaning, work that strives to make impact, socially and culturally.
