Christian began his career at FITCH in 1991 in London, ultimately serving as a Creative Director of the firm’s US retail business. He subsequently held positions at The Retail Group, Utility Inc and FRCH Design Worldwide before rejoining FITCH in his current role, Executive Creative Director, Americas, in 2010.
He is a frequently published commentator on international design and branding trends and has served as a keynote and session speaker at numerous conferences including The National Retail Federation Big Show, Globalshop, Store Expo, The Food Marketing Institute, ICSC Centerbuild and The International Retail Design Conference.
Christian has won over 80 international awards and has been named one of the top 10 Influencers in retail design 3 times by the design retail Portfolio Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2014. In 2012, Christian was presented with the Portfolio Awards’ highest honour when he was named one of three luminaries leading the Retail Design Industry today.
