Duncan Marshall

Duncan Marshall is a founding partner of Droga5 and Executive Creative Director of Droga5 Sydney.

Marshall’s career has been marked by being at the forefront of innovation and helping to guide agencies from the realms of average to world leading.

Over a 10-year period as Group Head at Saatchi & Saatchi in London, Marshall was one of the architects of a revitalisation that saw the agency dominate award shows around the world before being named worldwide agency of the year at Cannes in 2002.

In 2003 he was lured to Publicis in New York in the role of Executive Creative Director. After just a year, he helped to lift the agency to become New York’s most awarded.

In 2006 he agreed to join his colleague from Saatchi and Publicis, David Droga, to become a founding partner of Droga5 in New York.

His three years in New York were marked by a series of campaigns that have helped to redefine advertising with initiatives such as The Great Schlep, Millions and Decode Jay-Z.
