Doug is the CCO of VML Ogilvy Japan, an office that brings together the two networks under one roof in Tokyo. Before landing in Japan in 2018, he was the ECD of Ogilvy Beijing, where he led creative on such accounts as IBM, VW, Nestle, Siemens and Mercedes Benz, while picking up metal at the world's biggest shows, including multiple Gold Cannes Lions, a Spikes Grand Prix and China's first ever Yellow Pencil. He's also worked at agencies in San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and Singapore, is married to a woman from Shanghai, and enjoys nothing more than having his mandarin corrected by his two bilingual sons.
