Gustavo Greco is the founder and Creative Director of GRECO, a design company based in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo. He has been in the design industry for 18 years and has a portfolio that includes the creation of identity, signage, packaging, and editorial projects. In a short period of time, his company has become one of the most awarded in Brazil. In recent years alone, they have received the following awards: Design Lions at the Cannes Festival, D&AD, Grand Prix at the Red Dot Design Award, iF Communication Award, Lusophone Awards, London International Awards, and recognition at the Ibero-American Design Biennial.
Gustavo is also active in the academic field, serving as a professor in the Brand Management Postgraduate Program at IEC - Continuing Education Institute of PUC Minas. He also coordinates and leads the Exponential Design Postgraduate Program at UniBH, where he is a member of the Advisory Council. He is dedicated to promoting design initiatives in Brazilian society and served as the national president of ABEDESIGN from 2019 to 2021, currently being a part of the council of this institution. He frequently serves as a judge for awards in Brazil and abroad and is an ambassador for the Red Dot Design Award (Germany) in Brazil.
Under his Creative Directorship, GRECO has participated in the last editions of the National Graphic Design Biennial (ADG Brasil) and was prominently featured in 2015 and 2017. Gustavo also served as a curator for the 13th Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial in 2019 (ADG BRASIL).
