I've worked in advertising and communications for around 20 years now, largely in London, but also in Chicago and Sydney.
I studied art and design and quickly switched to copywriter as I became more attracted to all things word wise and strategy. 20 years on and I've gone full circle, often art directing and design directing teams in my role as Executive Creative Director.
I freelanced for many years, which allowed me the freedom to change mediums and types of account, and gave me a great 360 degree approach to problem solving.
I've worked for names such as RAPP, JWT, BMP interactive (which became Tribal DDB) & M&C Saatchi (London & Sydney). I then went on to become a CD on Global at Geometry Global, working across Ogilvy and GG in the States, and then CD at Rainey Kelley Y&R London and finally Executive Creative Director at You agency, which is a small, creative, media, and PR agency.
I've also won awards, been showcased in Lurzer's more than once, given talks at universities, had work voted most creative campaign worldwide on the Drum for the season, and made it into Campaign Live's top ten outdoor campaigns of 2016, but the highlight of my career is being asked to take part in judging D&AD 2017.
The most fun I had last year was creating the GBK Vote Rump campaign that sold tons of burgers and raised a few smiles along the way.
