Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Communications MEA since March 2016 and Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett MENA since 2011, Bechara is a multi-awarded and multilingual cosmopolitan creative and strategist, holder of two MBAs, one of which in 2009 from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership that gave an innovative inspiration to his creative strategy for brands, through integration and social engagement.
Throughout the years, Bechara worked in Paris, Dubai and Beirut, starting as an account executive, then he realized he was in fact a copywriter, before moving on as a young TVC director, shooting more than 100 commercials in three years, before going back to where the idea grows, the agency, joining Leo Burnett Beirut as the ECD.
Throughout the years, Bechara and his teams in the region have closely worked together, on inspiring global and regional brands, including P&G, McDonald's, Samsung, Diageo, Philip Morris, GMC, du, Oreedoo, Mobinil, MEA, Kellogg's, Maggi/Nestlé, Coca Cola, Mobinil, Emirates, Philip Morris, Bank Audi, Aïshti, Renault, BMW, Max, Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Exotica, to name just a few.
Bechara has also substantially helped Leo Burnett MENA get over 800 prestigious metals - mostly for insightful integrated campaigns - winning at every significant awards show on the planet for the last eight years.
Leo Burnett MENA won three times the accolade of Network of the Year at the Dubai Lynx in the last five years. At the Cannes Lions 2015, the Middle-Eastern network won 9 Lions, and 4 Lions in 2016.
In the 2015 Big Won Rankings, Bechara was named No.1 CCO in the world, and Leo Burnett Beirut was No.6 creative agency in the world. Leo Burnett Beirut was also the only Arab agency in the Top Twenty worldwide in the Gunn Report 2015.
