Sherida Kuffour

Sherida Kuffour is a Dutch graphic designer, art director and publisher of science fiction literature (Brave New Lit / Fantastic and Imaginative Romances). She teaches Editorial Design in the MA Contextual Design programme at Design Academy Eindhoven and works as an Art Director at Zürich based design and advertising agency Rosarot Ideennetz AG. Deeply engaged with conversations and human-centric approaches to design, Sherida is also active within the cultural and literary sector, having moderated panels and workshops for institutions such as Wim Crouwel Instituut, Writer’s Unlimited (NL), De Gouden Koets (NL) and Noorderlicht International Photo Festival (NL).
Her work has been recognised by a myriad of awarding bodies in Switzerland and The Netherlands such as the Swiss Design Awards, Xaver Awards, the Dutch Design Awards and the Stimuleringsfonds. She holds a Masters in Design: Think Tank for Visual Strategies from Sandberg Instituut and a Bachelors (with Honours) in Graphic Design from Ravensbourne University.
Selected notable editorial design works include 'Hotelgeschichten' for Swiss Historic Hotels published by Transhelvetica AG, 'Slay in Your Lane' by Elizabeth Uviebinené and Yomi Adegoke published by Harper Collins, and science fiction 'This Machine' by Aaron Thorpe published by Fantastic and Imaginative Romances.
