Eve joined the offline editing house, Willcox & Willcox in 1998, where she undertook a 6-year apprenticeship in learning the craft of editing.
In 2004, Eve desired a bigger challenge, so joined the internationally renowned offline editing house Cut & Run, as Senior First Assistant Editor. After two years of assisting, she transitioned to becoming an Editor in her own right. Eve’s ability and dedication to her craft and to the company was recognised with her quick progression to Senior Editor and her appointment as Company Director in 2010.
In Autumn 2015, Eve left Cut & Run to join The Assembly Rooms – a small and boutique company, with a high emphasis on creatively driven work. Eve joined the company as a Senior Editor and Company Owner. Within this role, Eve makes key decisions for the whole company, whilst maintaining creative quality over both the work she edits herself and the output of all the company’s editors. As well as working with high profile directors such as thirtytwo, Darius Marder, Natalie Rae, Tom Speers, Daniel Kleinman and Andy McLeod, Eve oversees staff management and takes pride in mentoring younger members of staff. Eve’s impeccable attention to detail and strong organisation skills, ensures that she delivers a consistently high standard of work to every client and project she is involved with.
Eve’s passion and drive for the highest quality editing has been recognised throughout the industry and has resulted in numerous awards, including, Cannes Lions, British Arrows, Creative Circle, D&AD, Kinsale, Immortal and being repeatedly voted within the top 5 Editors in the UK, by Televisual Magazine.
As a leading editor in her field, Eve’s opinion within the industry is well sought after and is demonstrated by her involvement as a judge within award ceremonies every year. Working in what is still a predominantly male dominated industry and role, Eve is a testimony to her hard work, passion and dedication to the creative process of storytelling and has created an inspiring pathway for others looking to enter into the industry.
