Get Better Books: on a mission to create beautiful interactive books, to help patients understand their treatment and get better!
This new company has been creating waves in medical communication: designing books that help allay anxiety in young patients, their carers and friends. They are deliberately informal, a little bit daft, but really do help understanding of complex conditions and procedures on the way to getting better.
Initially working in tandem with Great Ormond Street Hospital, in London. Get Better Books has its eyes firmly fixed on extending its reach to benefit a much wider range of children through other UK hospitals and further afield. It also is looking at reinvigorating medical communication as a whole. Ambitious plans!
