My name is Greg McIndoe - or Headless Greg, whichever you prefer - and I am an illustrator and design writer based in Glasgow, Scotland. I recently graduated with a First Class Degree in Illustration from DJCAD in Dundee and was picked as a D&AD New Blood One To Watch.
My design work is all about abstraction and I love exploring both 2D and 3D image making techniques. Highlights from my final year at university included writing and illustrating a book about mental health and being shortlisted for the House Of Illustration's BIC 2020.
As a design writer, I have worked with the likes of Inkygoodness, Ohh Deer, 91 Magazine, Nobrow Press, Mincho Magazine and The Make Bank. My writing focuses mainly on illustration whilst also covering graphic design, interiors and fashion alongside more personal topics like mental health and LGBTQ+ topics.
