Born and raised in Shanghai, Jia spent her adolescence refining two unique skills: learning what makes a perfect soup dumpling and finding internet cafes outside of her parent's daily route where she could safely play Starcraft.
After multiple failed attempts to join a pro gaming team in China, Jia's career took a drastic turn when she decided to come to the U.S. and become a strategist - choosing to build killer brands instead of striving for killstreaks.
Over the last decade, she specialized in global tech, innovation, and gaming for clients such as Google, Samsung, Epic Games, Uber. She has a strong understanding of Asian and Western markets with award-winning work including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Effie Awards, Clio, and Webby Awards.
Jia now spends her workdays dreaming up strategic partnerships and activations for some of her favorite franchises and spends her nights either gaming, searching for new spy shows to watch, or dancing until the morning hours.
