An ambitious and optimistic designer, Dave studied in Edinburgh and Paris before joining StudioLR as an award-winning graduate. Working with clients like John Lewis, the National Trust and SSE, and collaborating with artists including Alec Finlay and Callum Innes, Dave’s ethos is to design for real people and to try to make a difference to their lives… thinking about who’s going to experience the work rather than who’s creating it or who’s paying for it. Active in the design community, Dave lectures at Napier University, judged last year’s D&AD Awards, and spoke alongside Michael Wolff at last year’s New Designers Festival. He was awarded the Marketing Society Scotland’s Rising Creative Star Award 2016.
