Mark Summers trained as a performer before moving into casting over 20 years ago.
He knows the business inside and out and has been fortunate enough to work with some of the world’s most creative individuals, from Marc Forster to David LaChappelle and Madonna to Metallica. Mark’s dedication and skill has earned him love and respect from Directors, Producers, Choreographers and Performers as well as numerous awards too. Mark has been nominated and won, the British Advertising Craft Award for Best Casting Director.
Mark regularly passes on his knowledge and skills through his master classes and was also made a mentor and patron of the Royal Academy of Dance Community Outreach Programme, Step Into Dance.
In 2010, he was honoured by Sir Paul McCartney at the world famous Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and made a ‘Friend of LIPA’, one of the highest honours ever bestowed by the University.
