Christiane Bausback

Christiane Bausback graduated as Industrial Designer from the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

After several years of practice with Herbst LaZar Bell in Chicago, Neumeister + Partner and the B/S/H as Lead Design of the Innovation Lab Bosch, she returned as a partner to N+P in February 2008.

Her main areas of responsibility are product design for gastronomy, electronics and medical equipment as well as graphic and interaction design.

Since 2000 she has been working for design schools, mainly in Germany and Switzerland, parallel to her professional activities.

Many products designed by her have received national and international design awards, such as IDSA Gold, Good Design Award Chicago, Design Award Baden Württemberg, Red Dot and iF Product Design Awards, Universal Design Awards, as well as a few nominations for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.

In 2010 she was chosen for the Faces of Design, and in 2012 she was announced as one of the 40 most promising emerging design talents by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and the Chicago Athenaeum (40 under 40).
