Sotaro joined Dentsu in 2004. Employing both his high digital literacy based on his experience as a programmer, and strong storytelling skills built from working on traditional advertising as a copywriter, he works on a wide range of projects such as collaborative technology development with companies, incubation of startups, digital service development, concept planning of commercial facilities, producing entertainment events besides traditional advertising.
Has received a variety of awards, including D&AD Black Pencil, Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, and ranked 2nd in the world in Copywriter Division of AWARDS REPORT 2014 of Advertising Age magazine. He was a member of Cyber Jury of Cannes Lions 2017.
