Rob Doubal is Co-President and CCO of McCann London. He started his career as a writer at start-up agency John Doe in Amsterdam and after three years creating content for MTV, and having helped MTV Benelux to be voted most creative region worldwide, Rob moved to Mother London where he teamed up with Lolly Thomson. After creating award winning work across the full range of Mother's clients, the pair moved to Wieden and Kennedy London as Creative Directors. Two years later Rob and Lolly were appointed Executive Creative Directors at McCann London and then promoted to head up the agency as Co-Presidents and Chief Creative Officers. 2016 has seen their work for McCann London receive recognition on the international stage, winning 20 Cannes Lions and landing several more in the D&AD, Clio, Eurobest, LIA & The One Show awards. McCann London became the most awarded UK agency at Cannes Lions and Eurobest as well as the second most awarded globally at the Clios and LIAs. It was also named ‘Agency of the Year UK’ at the Clio Awards and ‘Outdoor Agency of the Year’ at Campaign BIG Awards, making 2016 a breakthrough year for the agency.
