After 4 years at Art School, Andy started his career at BDH Manchester in 1986.
In 1992 he set up CheethamBell with David Bell. Andy (Creative Director) and Dave (CEO) merged Cheetham Bell with JWT in 2001 to form CheethamBell JWT. JWT bought the final shares in CBJWT in 2008. He was regional chairman of the IPA from 2001-2003 and on the IPA council for a further 7 years.
Andy was made a fellow of the IPA in 2005 for services to the industry. He has judged numerous awards. CheethamBell JWT’s work has featured in many global awards over the years. Andy was honored with lifetime achievement awards from the Drum Magazine, The Roses awards and the Chip Shop awards.
