Mangesh Kavale is a Creative Director at Grey Group India. His idea Sehat Ka Batua (The Health Purse) won India its first-ever D&AD Yellow Pencil in Design. He was ranked among the Top 5 Art Director and Designer of One Show Ranking 2016. Mangesh has featured in Branding in Asia’s “One Under 30: Young Creative Spotlight”. He was honoured as a Rising Star at McCann India.
Mangesh has garnered awards at important festivals such as D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio Awards, London International Awards, ANDY Awards, New York Festivals and many other regional awards. And his work has been published in D&AD Book, Lürzer's Archive Magazine and The One Show Book. His work has been instrumental in nudging Grey India to the Top 10 rankings in the Grey network.
Mangesh is an integrated creative person who likes to ideate, art direct, design and narrate evocative stories. He is a proud alumni of J J Institute of Applied Art, considered amongst India's premiere Art Institutes.
He's a fan of Indian culture and behaviour. One life mantra that has served him well during his 10 years in the industry - “Observe. Learn. Apply.”
