Asa is Creative Director and founder of Intertype studio. Formerly a Creative Director at Design Bridge, where he worked from 2002 to 2020. His focus is primarily on branding, packaging and brand world creation.
Asa won a D&AD best new blood award on graduation from The University of Northumbria at Newcastle. Throughout his career he has won various accolades including The Scottish design awards, The New York Festivals, Communication Arts, The Drum Awards, the Pentawards, Design Week, DBA Design Effectiveness Awards, and a D&AD pencil.
Asa is very involved in student education with Intertype studio and D&AD. This includes tutoring an the MA packaging design course at Elisava Design School in Barcelona, setting the D&AD student packaging brief in 2012 and 2016 and D&AD New Blood portfolio surgeries.
