Olorunfemi Adewuyi

Olorunfemi Adewuyi was born in Kaduna in 1996. He studied Architecture at Covenant University Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.
He began his career at Studio Contra in 2019, being promoted to Associate in 2023 where he currently leads material research and studio design teams on projects in Nigeria and globally.
His work is at the nexus of material exploration, waste architecture, informality, and post-colonial architecture (modern), as well as art research within Nigeria. Additionally, he engages in object design and was recently recognized as a laureate in the LagosxParis Accelerator program. Olorunfemi has showcased his creations at exhibitions and galleries in Lagos.
He also shares insights about his work, has facilitated workshops for Goethe Institut Nigeria, and has been invited to speak at Open House Lagos and the Sharjah Architecture Triennial. He has also featured as a contributor in Disegno Journal.
