Start-up or Scale-up
‘Start-up’ is for side hustlers that are in the early stages of their project, experimenting with customer division and can demonstrate appropriate research and testing with the potential to work towards a positive contribution margin.
‘Scale up’ is for entrants who have side hustles that are already validated as projects within the marketplace and have proven that their unit finances are sustainable.
How It Works
The winning pitch will get the opportunity to put the idea in front of industry experts, potential collaborators and investors. A mentoring session from one of the Side Hustle Judges. Additionally, a Masterclass hosted in London at the D&AD HQs. If not based in the UK, then our new courses on D&AD Digital Campus instead. Finally, global exposure from our media partners for additional project support, and the work listed in The D&AD Annual alongside all the winners from this year’s awards.
