6001 - Design
Designs that can demonstrate the potential to create behavioural, environmental, social or policy change upon commercial release. Includes product designs, new materials, packaging innovations, digital design, service or systems design that aims to improve circumstances, access or quality of life.
6002 - Design / Emerging Talent
Created by those still in education or recent graduates, designs that can demonstrate the potential to create behavioural, environmental, social or policy change upon commercial release. Includes product designs, new materials, packaging innovations, digital design, service or systems design that aims to improve circumstances, access or quality of life.
6003 - Upstream Innovation
Solutions designed to fit within a circular system, where an upstream innovation approach has been applied to prevent waste. For solutions not yet commercially released that are reusable, returnable, recyclable or compostable, or where the need for materials has been eliminated. A fifth judging criteria applies to this subcategory: Is the design circular?
6004 - Upstream Innovation / Emerging Talent
Solutions created by those still in education or recent graduates and designed to fit within a circular system, where an upstream innovation approach has been applied to prevent waste. Strategic action that can demonstrate the potential to create behavioural, environmental, social or policy change upon commercial release. Includes fundraising initiatives, business initiatives, legislative action, forming alliances and community and regeneration projects.
6006 - Initiative / Emerging Talent
Created by those still in education or recent graduates, strategic action that can demonstrate the potential to create behavioural, environmental, social or policy change upon commercial release. Includes fundraising initiatives, business initiatives, legislative action, forming alliances and community and regenration projects.
