BA (Hons) Advertising
University of SunderlandLike all our design degrees, this course allows you to develop your own style and engage your personal creativity. It has core practice-based modules that include developing advertising campaigns, computer skills, creative portfolios, branding and identity.
This is a hands-on course and you will be encouraged to work in pairs as this is how the industry recruits. Forging relationships during the course is great preparation for the workplace and helps to maximise creativity – the bigger the ideas, the better the campaign.
As well as gaining knowledge about the practice of creative advertising and design, you will also study the significance of brand, positioning and identity. The course is industry-recognised and industry-focused. What you learn at Sunderland, you will go on to use every day in business.
