BA(Hons) Graphic Design

Students with a love of typography, design and idea generation will enjoy this creative course. Sounds like you? If so, we will introduce you to the role of the professional graphic designer as a visual thinker and problem-solver, while allowing you to specialise in branding, publishing or image-making.

Our strong links with industry mean that exciting field trips to London, Amsterdam and Barcelona are on the cards, to experience the culture of some of Europe’s top design studios. You will also get the opportunity to undertake a summer placement as well as working on live project briefs from global brands and organisations such as Abercrombie & Fitch and The Cyrenians.

Our course has a long tradition of success in student and staff awards both nationally and internationally. In 2012, five of our students were awarded membership of the prestigious International Society of Typographical Designers (ISTD). In 2010, one of our academics was honoured by D&AD for helping their students win the second highest number of Yellow Pencil awards the world over."
