This was really about trying to make something organic. The casting team spent a lot of time casting and together we all picked locations that would feel comfortable for the kids. We really started with wanting to make the kids feel comfortable and natural - and everything grew out of that.
What did the judges have to say?
The composition, elegance and restraint to the camera angles and movement allowed you to connect with the talent, letting the performances play out and fall out of frame in the action naturally. Nothing overly heavy-handed or tricky.
