Papillon Building

Our graphic design work created a unique brand identity for a commercial building and the pub/restaurant and event space it contained. Our creative idea was to use 'papillon' (French for both diurnal butterflies and nocturnal moths) as a conceptual and visual symbol of inclusivity. Based on a worldview that sees shared similarities where others see differences, we created imagery that positioned the building as a 'safe space' where names and labels don't matter—a place where people can come together, spread their wings, and enjoy each other's company both during the day and at night.
