There's only 1 favorite restaurant in the world of anime: WcDonald’s. For decades, across hundreds of titles, McDonald’s has been bootlegged as ‘WcDonald’s’ to avoid official licensing.
Instead of sending cease and desists, McDonald’s leaned into the joke and flipped their arches, too. Making anime’s favorite fictional restaurant a reality for fans across the world. We created a whole universe for fans to latch onto, and they did.
WcDonald’s took steam everywhere, from fan art, to cosplays, to a WcDonald’s activation in LA selling out in minutes. Turning WcDonald’s from a cameo to a fandom.
