With a 70% higher unemployment rate among Black Canadians, Canada has a hiring bias problem. CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals in Toronto took on this bias, creating awareness of its mission and showing local employers what Black youth are really capable of.

Young Black people are constantly being judged by their outward appearance, the black hoodie being its most infamous symbol. CEE flipped the narrative by reinventing the hoodie as a reminder to see the person behind their skin colour. WHO I REALLY AM hoodies are a walking showcase of the achievements of the Black youth wearing it.
