For Amazon to stand out during the holidays in 2023, we turned to an age-old tradition: jolly holiday music. We revived the vintage campaign but wrote nine new polka sing-alongs specifically for Gen-Z—not a genre typically hyped by TikTok. Where other campaigns went for hi-fidelity, we stayed true to the outdated look of the original campaign, and embraced the stiff acting, campy set designs, and cringe props of the era. By going for old, our campaign felt completely new on a modern platform, and stood out from the multiple other holiday campaigns, proving great holiday savings never get old.
