The Blue Square: Standing Up to Jewish Hate

We got people to care about a problem that - at the time - they barely believed existed. We illustrated that as 2.4% of the US population, Jews cannot fight 55% of hate on their own.

To contextualize the small size of the Jewish community, we used a blue square to take over 2.4% of screens. It was a visualization of the problem, and a symbol of advocacy.

Our (Blue Square) message created a behavioral shift amongst our target audience with a 33% increase in likelihood to stand up on behalf of Jews, and created advocates with over 3 million (Blue Square) pins requested and distributed.
