Japanese dance-vocal group ATARASHII GAKKO! released the music video for their hit single “Tokyo Calling” in late 2023. The video brings to life the original concept of the track, visually reimagining the daily struggles faced by the youth of Tokyo. Produced by us, the film sees group members transform into giants and dance through the city — symbolizing a magical escape for those battling societal pressures around the world. Filmed on 16mm film, the production honors classic Tokusatsu films by incorporating outdoor diorama sets and reviving special effects techniques from the past.
