Underline arrived with the ambitious goal of ending the internet service provider (ISP) monopolies that strangle smaller US cities. But after two years in their launch market, it was clear the message wasn’t resonating. It was time to create a stronger connection. Inspired by the fully-local Underline teams that were uniquely committed to this launch community, we created a brand voice that was as neighborly as it was empowering. A voice that felt like it came from within the community itself. Underline became your friendly neighborhood fiber network.
