The creative idea behind this spot was to make the real world become elevated to the levels of a blockbuster action film– glass breaking, explosions, and a high speed chase filled with excitement and color. The concept was to subvert expectations by casting two older women as our main heroes– two Abuelas who will flip, run, jump, and smash through windows in order to get the last bag of Doritos Dinamitas.
We as the audience are taken along on this journey as we crash through hair salons on 50 mph mobility scooters, run into traffic, and stop at nothing to get this delicious snack.
