Mr. Money Has Run Away was created as part of a project that couldn’t be realised in 2020 due to the pandemic. It reflects on the value of money in an ironic way. A Prosegur van – which is used to securely transport money – was filled with €52 million and covered in graffiti that read: ‘To be happy I want a truck’. It instigated a social experiment that used communication, design, and performance. The brochure is the unique reminder of the project. The narrative covers a van robbery, the encounter of the empty van, the recovery of the money, winning the lottery, and how the project came to life.
