Seeking a fresh look to stand out in a crowded space, OutSystems invited Studio Dumbar/DEPT® to create a new visual identity for its Next Step 22 conference. Launched in the run up to the event, the visual identity rolled out across promotional materials before extensive application across the actual conference. Responding to a clear and considered brief, the aim was to create a bold, energetic identity, supporting the tagline: ‘Where the future of software develops’. With plans to retain the identity for at least five years, it had to be powerful, distinctive, playful, and built to last.
