oslo.observer is an exploratory, retrospective website based on the creator’s previous decade spent living in Oslo. The material is candid in nature, drawing inspiration from the street photography genre, and was created between 2010-2022. Influenced by the playfulness of the old-school web but keeping modern usability and accessibility in mind, the project aims to engage the user with an eclectic, serendipitous range of content and presentational techniques. An optional soundtrack accompanies the site, with a different loop recorded in a home studio intended to thematically accompany each page.
