Ace & Tate’s eyewear campaign played with a universal feeling – being dazzled by the sun – and did so without showing any sunglasses at all. People were photographed squinting in bright light, in need of sunglasses, opting for a subtle approach rather than simply showcasing the product as a traditional brand would. Apparently, it worked. The first weekend after the launch was the second best sales day in Ace & Tate’s history.
