Sundance Film Festival is the largest and longest-running independent film festival in the United States, offering a platform for boundary-pushing stories since 1978. Porto Rocha developed the first ever core identity for the festival, allowing it to establish a more consistent brand presence while maintaining the flexibility to evolve over time. From the film-inspired design system and logo – a 16:9 framing device – to a brand voice that plays the role of narrator, the identity is anchored in the concept of SFF as a stage and champion of stories, artists, and culture.
