Desire Marea's music video portrays a romantic relationship between two Black men, whose sensual interactions play out against the hostile backdrop of South Africa’s hyper-masculine taxi gangs. The director drew on his own intersecting identities and nuanced experiences of being a Black South African Zulu gay man.
