Inspired by a true story, Chevrolet's campaign film tells the story of Mrs Hayes, a woman who nurtured a neighbourhood with the same care and purpose with which she nurtured her Chevrolet. That neighbourhood came to cherish her in return. Throughout the film, Mrs Hayes is portrayed over the decades of her life. Despite the trials and challenges facing her, she refuses to let her story dwell on heartache and loss. She turns these difficulties into empathy and gives back to her community instead. It all comes full circle and the very community she helped shape and serve comes to her rescue during her time of need.
