Artist duo Rottingdean Bazaar have been working with lettering made from pubic hair in physical artworks for a number of years. Considering how to contextualise this in Dry Cleaning's album artwork led them and their co-designer, photographer Annie Collinge, to soap. They collected bathroom objects, which they used to form the design and make visual connections with the song titles and lyrics. The trio photographed objects relating in physical structure to different parts of the LP packaging – for instance, a plughole as the vinyl sticker in the centre of the record.
