UND was originally designed as a quick uppercase-only display typeface for Danish fashion brand Baum und Pferdgarten. UND is a contemporary homage to the music, graphics, and typography of the psychedelia scene that emerged in San Francisco around the 1970s. UND was then developed further for the foundry's retail catalogue, adding lowercase letters and a lot of refinement to the shapes, ultimately making it even more playful, colourful, and psychedelic.
