In November 2022, Sweden’s sixth official Ronald McDonald House was inaugurated – this time on the game platform Roblox. Children who have stayed at the Houses in real life helped to design the virtual playroom, which is only available to other children in the same situation and the friends they choose to invite. The Ronald McDonald House in Roblox makes it possible for children staying at all five houses in Sweden to meet and play. Soon, the Ronald McDonald House in Roblox will become accessible to all children staying at Ronald McDonald Houses all over the world, connecting seriously ill children from over 60 countries.
