The design of ‘missing’ posters has never really changed, despite our understanding of human behaviour and the technology at our disposal coming on leaps and bounds in recent years. So Missing People gave typical ‘missing’ posters a 21st century makeover – using AI, machine learning, and behavioural science – to make them more engaging, impactful, and effective. This included enhancing the images of the missing people to make them clearer, using AI to bring them life, and creating various design changes to make the posters more empowering, such as swapping ‘missing’ for ‘help find’.
