An Art Director’s Guide to Japanese Fish Cuisine invites readers into a wonderland of fish, making them want to catch and eat fish in dishes like sushi or sashimi. The art director is the author who went out to Tokyo Bay to catch the fish, drew the fish brilliantly with passion while they were alive, cooked and photographed them, and then provided descriptions of the taste. All of the content, including 147 recipes and amusing fish trivia, were all handwritten and designed by the author, making this a unique and entertaining book. The book tapped into the popularity of fish among Japanese people, and became a bestselling recipe book in Japan.
